Description

Short title: Morris v Meredith.

Plaintiff(s): Sir William Morris, kt.

Defendant(s): John Meredith.

Subject of depositions: Quarries of millstones in Vadwe Vawre and Porth Pennon, and Sir Richard Bulkely's park, near Porth Pennon; whether all quarries in Carnarvon, Anglesea, and Merioneth belong to the principality of Wales. Touching digging up of millstones by defendant (for his master, Sir Richard) and by others, to the injury of His Majesty's aforesaid quarries.

County/place: Anglesea; Caernarfonshire; Merionethshire.

Date of commission: 12 June 1611.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 30 October 1611 at Dolbenmen.
