Description

Short title: Andrews v Brode.

Plaintiff(s): John Andrews.

Defendant(s): Thomasine Brode, widow, John Brode, Agnes Brode.

Subject of depositions: Tenement in the manor of Trelowa, parcel of the duchy of Cornwall. Was the Earl of Devon seised of the manor in the reign of Philip and Mary? Grant in same reign of the stewardship of duchy of Cornwall to Sir Edward Hastings, afterwards Lord of Loughboro', and appointment by him of Humfrey Gilbert as his deputy. Customs of manors of Trelowya, Landrene, and Northill, and of other manors parcel of the duchy, in "letting and setting of coppies ".

County/place: Cornwall.

Date of commission: 12 June 1611.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 24 July 1611 at Morval.
