Description

Short title: Hewett v Fenwick.

Plaintiff(s): Sir William Hewett, John Hewett.

Defendant(s): Stephen Fenwick, Thomas Wayles, John Wayles.

Subject of depositions: Lands in Dalton. Whether the town of Dalton or the lands are in the manor of Hexham. Whether the manor of Hexham belonged to the Archbishop of York or to the prior of Hexhambefore it came to the Crown. Touching custom of tenantright in the manor. Have the lands been let to Sir Raynold Carnabie, Sir Raffe Sadler, and Sir John Forster.
