Description

Short title: Worth v Purnell.

Plaintiff(s): Hugh Worth, and his partners.

Defendant(s): John Purnell.

Subject of depositions: Lordship and forest of Mendip, a "pitch or grub" in such lordship called Sheppard's Pitch, at or near Furzie Lane upon the forest, parcel of the lead mines there within the libertie of Charles Walgrave, lord of the manor of Chewton. Customs of lordships as to mineral courts.

County/place: Somerset.

Date of commission: 12 June 1611.
