Description

Short title: Barrett v Reeves.

Plaintiff(s): Richard Barrett.

Defendant(s): George Reeves, keeper of the college of the Blessed Mary, of Winchester, commonly called New College, in Oxford, Walter Jones.

Subject of depositions: Down called"Westdown" whether parcel of the King's manor of Thickwood (Wiltshire), or parcel of the manor of Colerne, in the possession of defendants. Metes and bounds. Common of pasture. Survey. [John Thynne, esq, chief steward of Thickwood Manor, Doctor Culpepper, sometime warden of the college, Martin Jones (defendant's father), and the possessions of Nicholas Barrett, are mentioned].
