Description

Short title: Ridley v French.

Plaintiff(s): Hugh Ridley.

Defendant(s): Peter French, Cuthbert Herdman, Francis Whitfield.

Subject of depositions: Divers messuages lying in Whitfield, parcel of Whitfield Manor, delivered to plaintiff in execution of an extent had upon a bond given by George Whitfield, to plaintiff. Touching alleged custom of tenant right in the manor. Customs of manor. [The names of Ralph Whitfield, father of George, and Roger French, father of Peter, are mentioned].

County/place: Northumberland.

Date of commission: 27 June 1610.
