Subject of depositions: Debts and property of Sir Everard Digby, knight, attainted at the time of his death; did he borrow money for his mother, and did it come to her hands. Also touching the wardship of the body and lands of Richard Ereswick, son of Sampson Ereswick, late husband of Maria Digby (one of the defendants), granted to Lord Gerard (1 James I), and purchase of such wardship for £1,000 for which Sir Robert Digby, Sir Everard Digby, attainted, and Thomas Digby became bound to Cuthbert Ogle, and to one Vernon, of London. How was the bond satisfied. [The names of Mr Blower, of London, Mr Bowes, Mr Bulbeck, John Digby, of Seaton (Rutland), Mr Falconer, Sir Edward Watson, of Rockingham Castle, Mr Duncombe, and Sir Thomas Bennett, as parties from whom money was borrowed to satisfy the bond, are mentioned].
