Description

Short title: Pleydell v Pound.

Plaintiff(s): John Pleydell.

Defendant(s): William Pound.

Subject of depositions: Rectory of Shrivenham (tithes amongst others) of lands called "The Abbot of Cirencester's Tenant's lands" as belonging to the late monastery of St Augustine, near Cirencester (Gloucestershire). Touching composition for tithes between the monastery and William Solito, late vicar of Shrivenham. [The name of Thomas Pleydell (late father of plaintiff), farmer of the rectory, is mentioned].

County/place: Berkshire; Gloucestershire.

Date of commission: 12 February 1610.
