Description

Short title: Richard v Wynn.

Plaintiff(s): Roderick otherwise Rytherchap Richard, Owen ap Thomas, Reynalt ap Thomas, Owen ap Moris, John ap Moris, John ap Reynalt. Jevan ap Robert William ap Owen, Robert ap Rees, Thomas Vaughan, John ap Robert Lewis ap Richard Jevan ap William, John ap Richard and others, tenants of Dolwethelan.

Defendant(s): Sir John Wynn, kt, and John Wynn, gent.

Subject of depositions: Execution of a decree made in the Court of Exchequer Chamber by Lord Burleigh, late lord treasurer, and the barons, for and on behalf of the then ancient native tenants of the town of Dolwethelan, regarding their claim to a customary inheritance in their lands. Manumission of the tenants, as also of all other native and bond tenants in North Wales by Henry VII. Customs of lordship. Survey.
