Short title: Newte v Webber.

Plaintiff(s): Henry Newte.

Defendant(s): John Webber, alnager and collector of subsidy in Tiverton, under the Duke of Lenox.

Subject of depositions: Grant or conveyance made by Sir John Brooke of the subsidy and alnage"of salable clothes, half clothes, and peeces of clothes salable within the counties of Devon and Cornwall, the city of Exeter, and Tiverton" and composition of Lodowick Duke of Lenox with Sir John for the same. What amount was collected by defendant?
