Description

Short title: Attorney General v Thelwall.

Plaintiff(s): Attorney General.

Defendant(s): Simon Thelwall.

Subject of depositions: Right and title to lands called Rhose Goch and Broad Meadow or Weirglodd Vawr, lying in the parish and being copyhold of the lordship of Ruthin, otherwise called Dyffryncloid. [The names of Edward Thelwall, son and heir of Ivall Thelwall, and father of Richard Thelwall, late of Plaswarde in the lordship, is mentioned; and a copy of a grant, dated 14 July, 2 Henry VII, of lands from Edmund Grey Earl of Kent, Lord of Hastings, Waisford, and Ruthin, to Edward Thelwall and John Holland, and their heirs, is given].

County/place: Denbighshire.

Date of commission: 31 January 1610.
