Plaintiff(s): William Butterfield.
Defendant(s): Anthony Lea, William Stayne.
Subject of depositions: Sixteen cottages in Evesham, lately in the possession of William Andrews; were they concealed lands; and the rent devoted to the support of "Our Ladies Priests" in the parish church of St Lawrence, in Evesham, and to other popish uses? Touching former suits before the council in the marches of Wales to establish right to the cottages, between Edward Andrewes v. William Robbins, and another between Samuel Les Maitres, John Wynnoll, Edward Walker, Edward Leaper, and John Hopkins (on behalf of the inhabitants of Evesham) against Edward Andrews.
County/place: Worcestershireshire.
Date of commission: 28 November 1609.
Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 10 January 1610 at Evesham.
