Description

Short title: Attorney General v Grunston.

Plaintiff(s): Attorney General.

Defendant(s): Charles Grunston otherwise Grumeston, Richard Browne, Edmund Wolferston, Robert Webb, and others.

Subject of depositions: Execution of a commission out of the Court of Exchequer, dated about April 1608, directed to William late Bishop of Coventry, Sir John Bowers, and divers of the defendants, to enquire by men of Stafford of the goods and chattels of divers recusants mentioned in schedule to such commission annexed.

County/place: Staffordshire.

Date of commission: 29 May 1609.
