Description

Short title: Stockton v Hall.

Plaintiff(s): Thomas Stockton.

Defendant(s): Thomas Hall, Rowland Whitton.

Subject of depositions: Messuage in Ayton, called Ayton Hall, a house called the Common Bakehouse, and a house belonging to defendant; whether the bakehouse was parcel of the manor of Ayton; was it included in Hall and Humberston's survey of the lands of the Earl of Westmorland, attainted? did the bakehouse and house of defendant stand on the waste ground in the towngate of Ayton? Survey.

County/place: Yorkshire.

Date of commission: 13 February 1609.
