Description

Short title: Lane v Barnard.

Plaintiff(s): Thomas Lane, Phillip Bould.

Defendant(s): Phillip Barnard.

Subject of depositions: 2,500 lbs. weight of Trinidad tobacco brought by defendant from Amsterdam, and the refusal of the farmers of the impost of tobacco to make any reasonable composition for same. A previous suit is referred to.

County/place: London.

Date of commission: 13 February 1609.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 13 April 1609 at the sign of the Bell in the parish of Saint Gregory, London.
