Description

Short title: Pollard v Earl of Huntingdon.

Plaintiff(s): Henry Pollard.

Defendant(s): The Rt Hon Henry Earl of Huntingdon, and Walter Earl of Hastings.

Subject of depositions: Money and other transactions between Henry, late Earl of Huntingdon, Lord President of the North, and Matthew Pollard, father of plaintiff, and the loan of 1,500l. by Matthew to the Earl, and the lease of the manor of Lubbesthrop by the Earl to Matthew, in the 22nd year of Queen Elizabeth. Touching also the administration of the effects of Pollard.

County/place: Leicestershire.

Date of commission: 13 February 1609.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 28 March 1609 at York.
