Description

Short title: Castell v Castell.

Plaintiff(s): Alice Castell, widow, William Castell.

Defendant(s): Katherine Castell, John Kent.

Subject of depositions: Right and title to lands in the west end of Wootton, called Rowars; lands called Kingsmill and Three Closes at the Slape, called Poulesses, late of Richard Castell, and parcel of the late chantry of St Margaret's, in Woodstock; whether parcel of the manor of Woodstock. Survey. [The names of William Martin, George Owen, Humfrey Malins, Henry Horne, of Glimpton, father to Robert Horne, of Bletchenden, Mary Castell, daughter of William Fortie, of Kidlington, and Christopher Castell, are mentioned].

County/place: Oxfordshire.

Date of commission: 28 November 1608.
