Description

Short title: Phillipps v Hamlet.

Plaintiff(s): John Phillipps, Rice Rithergh, and Rowland Phillipps.

Defendant(s): Thomas Hamlet, Rees ap Jevan, Richard Harry Brown, Richard Thomas.

Subject of depositions: Right and title to a tenement in the manor of Eglwyskymyn, called Place y Rhose Goz, and a parcel of arable land, called Tur y wayn dalva otherwise Mayn Stone. Metes and bounds between the lordship and the parish of Kiffig and the lordship of Tallangharne. Survey. [The names of James Read, David William Thomas, David Canton, Sir John Perrott, attainted, late lord of the manor, and Howell ap Price, are mentioned.] Also touching right and title to three parcels of meadow called Gwirglodidd y Portrefi otherwise Portreves Meads, in the parish of St Cleares. Is the parish and rectory of St Cleares and chapel of St Kymyns parcel of All Souls' College, in Oxford, and granted to same by Henry VI? Are the lands, common lands? Customs of parish. Survey.
