Description

Short title: Herbert v Owen.

Plaintiff(s): Matthew Herbert.

Defendant(s): Rowland Owen, Hugh ap Jevan Lloyd.

Subject of depositions: "A sute of mylne" which the defendants and other inhabitants of towns of Machenlaeth and Iskoed Penegoes, being tenants of the manor of Keveiliog, ought to do to His Majesty's mylne called Melin y Penrhos alias y velin gerrig. Survey. [The township of Issey Gerreg, Sir Roger Owen, Rowland David Lloyd, Owen ap Howell Goz, John David Lloyd, the defendants' mills called Melin y Garth and y velin newydd, and Rowland Pugh, are mentioned].

County/place: Montgomeryshire.

Date of commission: 28 November 1608.
