Description

Short title: Wright v Heighley.

Plaintiff(s): Hugh Wright, John Robinson, John Peverell, George Robinson, and others, tenants of Eldon.

Defendant(s): Richard Heighley, John Greavesom otherwise Grieveson.

Subject of depositions: Waste or moor called Eldon Moor, Eastmore, Westmore, and Woodham Moor, extending north from a place called Rushieford, to Cawdwell, and from Eldon to Woodham Howses. Is the town of Eldon parcel of the lordship of Brancepeth, in the King's hands, by attainder of Charles, Earl of Westmorland. Have the townships of Eldon, Woodham, Midridge, and Windleston right of common on the moor. Sale of part of Woodham to Matthew Hutton Bishop of Durham. Survey.
