Description

Short title: Street v Wallwyn.

Plaintiff(s): John Street.

Defendant(s): Robert Wallwyn.

Subject of depositions: Manor and rectory of Newland (including parcels called the Churchyard, Flyvord, and a messuage lately in the tenure of Johan Collick, widow), late of the monastery of Much Malvern. Are the parcels copyhold of Newland Manor. Did Queen Elizabeth grant same rectory and tithes, about 24 February 20 Eliz, to Edward, late Earl of Lincoln, and Christopher Gouffe; did they grant same, about 25th of same month, to Thomas Smith and William Hagon; did they grant same, about 25 February 21 Eliz, to Anthony Rotsey; did same descend to John Rotsey, and he grant same 26 February 21 Eliz to Edward Street? Metes and bounds. Survey. Chapels called Woodfield, St Leonards, Madersfield, and Clevelode, and people called William Sponer, Edmund Bodenham, of Leigh (Worcestershire), Elizabeth and Henry Sponer, and John Walwyn (defendant's father), are mentioned.
