Description

Short title: Sotherton v Aldham.

Plaintiff(s): George Sotherton, the King's farmer of the rectory of Bardwell.

Defendant(s): John Aldham.

Subject of depositions: Rectory and parsonage of Bardwell. Whether lands called the Layes and the Unwent, in Sapston, are part of the glebe lands. Survey. [The names of Thomas Cage, late incumbent of Bardwell, Thomas Aldham, father of defendant, the lands of Sir Robert Jermyn, John Jervis, the manor of Wokinge, Mr Ashfeld, and John Grene, are mentioned].

County/place: Suffolk.

Date of commission: 12 February 1608.
