Description

Short title: Ewer v Moyle.

Plaintiff(s): Edward Ewer.

Defendant(s): Thomas Moyle and John Moyle.

Subject of depositions: Right and title to the manor and parsonage of Caversfield, said to have belonged formerly to the monastery of Burcester otherwise Bicister otherwise Bissiter (Oxfordshire). Survey. [The names of Thomas Piggott, late ofDodersall, esq, Robert Hitchcock, late of Caversfield, esq, deceased, Robert Bedolphe, esq, deceased, Arthur Bedolphe, deceased, William Alcock, gent, deceased, Thomas Moyle, of Staple Inn, Holborn, London, deceased, John Langstone, of Caversfield, deceased, Richard Langstone, Thomas Langstone, and his freehold land in Bucknell and King's Sutton, and his lands in Tusmore, a deed, dated 3 Henry VII by Thomas Banbury, prior of Burcester, to one John Langstone, of the moietie of the manor, Sir Michael Blunt, Sir Richard Blunt, Jane, widow of John Langston, William Carter, John Jackman, Walter Moyle, Francis Ewer, Thomas Denton, Sir Christopher Piggott, and Mr Beedle, are mentioned].
