Description

Short title: Suckling v Jarratt.

Plaintiff(s): John Suckling.

Defendant(s): John Jarratt.

Subject of depositions: Manors of Wandsforth (parcel of Lynox's lands), and Skerne (said to be abbey lands); whether the former is a distinct manor or parcel of Skerne? Touching right of fishing in the river flowing between the manors, called WestBeck or West Water. Metes and bounds. Customs of manors. Survey. [The names of John Crompton, lord of the manor of Skerne, Matthew and Margaret , Earl and Countess of Lenox, late Earl of Northumberland, George Slater, John Nettleton, William Wilberfosse, and Marmadale Langdale, are mentioned].
