Plaintiff(s): Rt Hon Margaret Countess Dowager of Cumberland.
Defendant(s): John Wood.
Subject of depositions: Lands in the manor of Harwood and Stockton, conveyed by James Ryther to Albany Butler, two parts whereof were seized by Crown for recusancy of the latter; granted by Queen Elizabeth to JohnDumbwell, and since bought by plaintiff of Albany. Touching leases procured by one Heaton for plaintiff, and for one Southworth. Recusant's lands.
County/place: Yorkshire.
Date of commission: 25 June 1607.
Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 30 September 1607 at Leeds.
