Description

Short title: Vaughan v Stamper.

Plaintiff(s): Sir Henry Vaughan.

Defendant(s): Robert Stamper.

Subject of depositions: Water corn-mills called "Kirkham Mills" in or near Kirkham; whether lately belonging to the monastery of Kirkham; and mills in the manors of Firby and Weston. Touching the right of inhabitants of Kirkham, Whitwell, to grind their corn at other mills besides Kirkham Mills (plaintiff's).

County/place: Yorkshire.

Date of commission: 12 February 1607.
