Defendant(s): Silvan Scory, Sir John Scory, Edmund Scory, John Welford.
Subject of depositions: Colwall Park, and a parcel of the demesnes of Whitborne Manor (Herefordshire), parcel of the bishopric of Hereford Leased by Bishop Scory to defendants, about 20 June 14 Elizabeth (freed from tithe?), and previously leased by Bishop Skipp, about January 5 Edward VI, to William Shawe; assigned by him to Edmond Skipp, and given by him (for custody) to Henry Barnes. Alleged destruction of such lease by Bishop Scory, and agreement by him in part recompence (about 6 Eliz) to grant E Skipp 30 loads of wood out of two woods in Herefoods, called Wofferwood and Brinkstye. Survey.
