Description

Short title: Cooke v Clarke.

Plaintiff(s): Sir Edward Cooke, (Attorney - General), at the relation of James Band.

Defendant(s): Thomas Clarke, William Northen, bailiff of said manor.

Subject of depositions: Manor of Ledbury Forren, and the defendant (Clarke's) execution of the office of deputy steward thereof. Customs of manor. Sir John Scudamore, high steward thereof. [The names of Richard Barnard, Margery Mutlow, William Mutlow, John Northen, John Hope, Thomas Mutlow, Thomas Meeke, Anthony Barnard, Catherine Hopkins, Stephen Skiiner, Geoffrey Suckley, Richard and William Skinner, Thomas Fydoe, Peter Lawrence, and William Bennett, copyholders, are mentioned].

County/place: Herefordshire.
