Defendant(s): William Pymm.
Subject of depositions: Forest of Barnewood, and the woods there called"Ixhill","Pauncill","Leatherslade","Malcombe" and"The Frith" and a lease of such woods made by Queen Elizabeth to Sir John Fortescue, kt, then Chancellor of the Exchequer. Touching sales of same, and waste and spoil. It is deposed on part of defendants that only"dottards, runts, and wrangles" were felled, and not timber trees.
