Subject of depositions: Chief forestership in fee of the forest of Shotover and Stowood. Touching waste and spoil in theexecution of two warrants directed to William Wollascott, His Majesty's woodward of Oxford and Berkshire, for delivery of certain trees to make 6,000 loads of billet and tallwood for His Majesty's household. The chief foresters in fee have been John Denham, esq, Henry Lord Norris, Sir Edward Norris his son, and now Francis Lord Norris, who have had for their fee all the dead trees.
