Description

Short title: Taverner v Pollard.

Plaintiff(s): John Taverner, surveyor of His Majesty's woods on this side of Trent.

Defendant(s): George Pollard, lieutenant of His Majesty's forest of Blackmore, and Michael Cuffe, his deputy.

Subject of depositions: Forest of Blackmore; increase of deer therein. Felling of timber. waste or spoil. Browse wood for winter feeding of deer. Preservation of vert, venison, etc. Survey.

County/place: Wiltshire.

Date of commission: 23 November 1605.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 3 January 1606 at Reybridge, certificate.
