Description

Short title: Vaughan v Thomas.

Plaintiff(s): Fulk Vaughan, Lowry Fulk, widow.

Defendant(s): Piers Thomas.

Subject of depositions: Right, title, and interest in eight acres of land in Thingengroen, in the comott of Isdulas, in the lordship of Denbigh, land called yr acre Lase, and four other parcels in such lordship. Did Robert Earl of Leicester, as lord of Denbigh, in 27 Elizabeth demise same to Morgan Vaughan ap Lewis or Chas. Wednester; did Wednester assign them to Thomas Owen, esq, serjeant-at-law; did Owen, by deed in December 33 Elizabeth assign them to Rees David ap Holl; did Queen Elizabeth, in 36 Elizabeth demise them to Rees ap Howell? etc. Survey in January 41 Eliz.

County/place: Denbighshire.

Date of commission: 28 November 1605.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 2 June (January?) 1606 at the parish church of Llanyvyth, certificate dated 2 January 1606.
