Description

Short title: Egerton v Beckett.

Plaintiff(s): Dame Elizabeth Egerton.

Defendant(s): Thomas Beckett.

Subject of depositions: Tolls of Knottesford Market. Whether messuages called "Claitford" and "St John's Croft" are parcel of the late priory of St John of Jerusalem, in England? Survey. Is Claitford within the manor of Kinderton? Customs of the manor. Has suit and service been done for said messuage in St John's Court, in Middlewich Market, in such town? Tithes of Middlewich. Tithes of Newton. [The names of Sir Thomas Venables, Sir William Brereton, George Becket, and Thomas Bomville, are mentioned].
