Description

Short title: Wrothe v Chaplyn.

Plaintiff(s): Sir Robert Wrothe.

Defendant(s): Arthur Chaplyn.

Subject of depositions: Manor of Bardfield, and a corn mill therein; whether the tenants of Great Bardfield, Little Bardfield, Saling, Finchingfield, used the mill? Injury thereto caused by defendant's new mill. Also touching a tenement called "Robions" in Finchingfield, late of John Wentworth. Survey.

County/place: Essex.

Date of commission: 19 June 1605.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 2 and 3 September 1605 at Great Bardfield.
