Description

Short title: Babb v Boswell.

Plaintiff(s): Mary Babb, widow.

Defendant(s): Richard Boswell.

Subject of depositions: Close of land called "The Newe Park" or "Newe Parks" in the parish of Malboro', and others called "The Mary Dole of the Rectory of Totness." Metes and bounds. Tithes. Touching lands called the warren in such parish, in the tenure of Sir William Courtney, kt [There is another "Mary Dole" belonging to the rectory in the parish of Ermington.] Concerning William Gilberd otherwise Webber, farmer of the rectory of West Alvington, belonging to the Dean and Chapter of the Cathedral Church of Salisbury. Is the parish of Malboro' parcel of rectory aforesaid, and does it pay tithes thereto? Survey.
