Description

Short title: Smyth v Stanhope.

Plaintiff(s): Robert Smyth, parson of Langford.

Defendant(s): Sir Michael Stanhope, Lawrence Wright, Thomas Houlden.

Subject of depositions: Messuage in Yeveley, in the tenure of Joan Balliden, widow. Are there any lands (parcels called "Drapers and Windy Oaks ") occupied with the same, belonging to the parsonage of Langford? Did the messuage pay 6s a year to the parsonage? Survey.

County/place: Derbyshire.

Date of commission: 19 June 1605.
