Description

Short title: Underhill v Valentine.

Plaintiff(s): Nicholas Underhill, Richard Plawe.

Defendant(s): Henry Valentine.

Subject of depositions: Land called "The Geildable" in Lingfield; whether belonging to the Crown and not parcel of the manor of Felcourt, or to the late dissolved monastery of St Peter of Hide (Southampton)? Manor of Felcourt. Metes and bounds. Is Felcourt Heath within same? [Sir John Gresham, late lord of the manor, is mentioned.] Customs of manor. Survey.

County/place: Surrey; Hampshire.

Date of commission: 19 June 1605.
