Description

Short title: Bewesher v Hudson.

Plaintiff(s): William Bewesher, Stephen Monsey, Lawrence Smith, and others, tenants of Barton.

Defendant(s): John Hudson, clerk, William Hudson.

Subject of depositions: Rectory of Barton, and the tithes of the hamlets of Bowerdale, Fewsdale, and Sandwycke, and elsewhere, in the parish of Barton, particularly touching tythe wool and composition for tithes. Survey.

County/place: Westmorland; Cumberland.

Date of commission: 18 June 1605.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 11 September 1605 at Penreth.
