Description

Short title: Revell v Gwynne.

Plaintiff(s): John Revell, Griffith ap Rutherch.

Defendant(s): David Gwynne, Fulk Lloyd, Richard John M'redd', John Richard Lewis Lloyd.

Subject of depositions: Town and liberties of Cardigan. Grant of tolls in markets and fairs by Queen Elizabeth (29th Eliz), to Richard Gwynne, who assigned it to Thomas Revel. Intrusion of defendants (David Gwynne being mayor of Cardigan) upon levying such tolls. Also touching balances and measures.

County/place: Cardigan.

Date of commission: 10 May 1605.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 30 May 1605 at Cardigan, certificate dated 1 June 1605.
