Description

Short title: Morgan v Thomas.

Plaintiff(s): Edward Morgan, of Lanternham.

Defendant(s): Thomas William Thomas, of Pantegge, Morgan Thomas Morgan, Ross John, Thomas Morgan Thomas.

Subject of depositions: Manor of Edlegan; is it a lordship marther or lordship riall (i.e) whether before the division of Wales into shires it had right of trial of lands and of felons within its precincts. Was it sometime parcel of Therldom of March? Whether it was assigned as dower to the Queens of England, i.e. by Henry VIII etc? Touching grant by Philip and Mary to W Morgan (plaintiff's father). Touching right of plaintiff to forfeitures. Customs of manor. Survey.
