Description

Short title: Bellamy v Caver.

Plaintiff(s): Oliver Bellamy.

Defendant(s): Richard Caver, Ralph Shenton, Edward Brotherick, Hugh Kerchever, William Freeman, Thomas Wright, Henry Holcroft.

Subject of depositions: Parsonage of Balderton; by what right held by plaintiff Bellamy? whether same was granted, July 43 Queen Eliz to William Wright from John Keale, who likewise had a grant from the Queen? Touching forcible entry of the rectory, and taking of tithes by defendants; whether the tithes were demanded for Mr Archdeacon Pratt, prebendary of Farndon and Balderton, or for John Keale? All interest in the parsonage possessed by William Wright from John Keale was (it is alleged) assigned by him in 43 Eliz to complainant, at a reserved rent of £60 per annum, £20 to the Queen, £20 to Keale, £18 to Mr Archdeacon Pratt, and 40s to the church of Lincoln. Survey.
