Description

Short title: North v Garnons.

Plaintiff(s): Edward North, Robert Browne.

Defendant(s): Walter Garnons, Thomas Cordall.

Subject of depositions: Execution of a writ of "Capias Utlagat" against defendant Garnons, by plaintiffs (North, high sheriff of Nottingham, and Brown, his under-sheriff). The possessions of the defendant Garnons included a lease of lands in Cottam (Nottinghamshire), and a lease of lands in Claypoole (Lincolnshire), made by Robert Markham to Garnons. [John Bartlet, Robert Levesey, and Gabriel Levesey, are mentioned].

County/place: Nottinghamshire; Lincolnshire.

Date of commission: 29 November 1602.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 11 January 1603 at Newark-on-Trent.
