Description

Short title: Lloyd v Moston.

Plaintiff(s): Hugh Lloyd, Her Majesty's farmer of said excheat lands.

Defendant(s): Thomas Moston, Ellis Thomas Vaughan, John Owen, Robert Owen, Robert Lewis and his wife Alice, Jevan ap Hugh, Owen ap Owen, Meredith ap Rees, Griffith ap David ap Howell, Pyers Lewis, Thomas ap David, Thomas ap Robert, Hugh ap John, Griff ap Jevan, David ap John.

Subject of depositions: Lands and tenements, parcel of Her Majesty's excheat lands in the comot of Cruthyn (Caernarfonshire). Alleged concealment of escheated lands from Her Majesty and the now plaintiff, Her Majesty's farmer of such lands, by the defendants.

County/place: Caernarfonshire.

Date of commission: 27 November 1602.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 10 January 1603 at the parish church of Bettus, Denbigh.
