Description

Short title: Phillips v Bedells.

Plaintiff(s): Christopher Phillips, of Kimbolton (Huntingdonshire).

Defendant(s): William Bedells, the elder, William Bedells, the younger, of Catworth (Huntingdonshire).

Subject of depositions: Close called "The Parsonage Close" in the town, parish, and soake of Kimbolton (Huntingdonshire). Metes and bounds, etc. What sums of money have been paid to the collectors of Her Majesty's 10ths and 15ths ( "granted by the laity ") in respect of such close. Alleged partiality shown by the assessors in making the collection.

County/place: Huntingdonshire.

Date of commission: 29 November 1602.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 5 January 1603 at Kimbolton.
