Description

Short title: Kirton v Bowes.

Plaintiff(s): Thomas Kirton, Richard Lumley, George Arundel.

Defendant(s): Ralph Bowes.

Subject of depositions: Manor of Gryndon (Durham), formerly in the possession of Elizabeth Place; who enjoyed the manor after her decease in the 27th to the 37th years of Queen Elizabeth. Touching a lease held by Robert Bowes (defendant's father), deceased.

County/place: Durham.

Date of commission: 12 February 1602.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 14 April 1602 at Durham.
