Description

Short title: Scudamore v Davies.

Plaintiff(s): Thomas Scudamore.

Defendant(s): William Davies, clerk.

Subject of depositions: Tithes of corn and grain in Salisbury (Monmouthshire) (in the parish or late parish of Merthirgren) which did grow upon the late lands and inheritance of Lewis Scudamore (plaintiff's father), parcel of the late abbeyof Tintern (Monmouthshire). [Griffith Jones, late vicar of Magore, the deanery of Netherwent, and Henry, late Earl Worcester (patron of the church of Merthergren and Magore), are mentioned].
