Description

Short title: Hotham v Harrison.

Plaintiff(s): John Hotham, of Scarboro', and his wife Jane, Margaret Legerd, of Risom, widow of Richard Legerd, and formerly wife of William Nelson.

Defendant(s): Henry Harrison, clerk, parson of Holmeton.

Subject of depositions: Towns and parishes of Holmeton alias Holumpton alias Humpton, and Wythernesey (Yorkshire), and the tithes thereof, parcel of the late monastery of Kirkstall (Yorkshire). [Thomas Emery and Robert Cullingworth, parsons of Elmeton, are mentioned].

County/place: Yorkshire.

Date of commission: 27 November 1601.
