Description

Short title: Lee v Boss.

Plaintiff(s): Gervase Lee, the younger.

Defendant(s): Thomas Boss, Thomas Terry.

Subject of depositions: Tithes of the town and fields of Shirborn (Yorkshire) formerly belonging to the late prebend of Newthrop, and "annexed to the dignity of the treasureship of the Cathedral and Metropoliticall Church of St Peter of York" and afterwards parcel of the possessions of Edward, late Duke of Somerset. Metes and bounds of Shirborn and Leverton (Yorkshire). Tithes. Touching right and title to the tithes of Leverton (Yorkshire); whether they belong to the prebend of Fenton (Yorkshire); whether the prebendary of Fenton is rector and parson over and throughout all the towns of Kirkfenton, Little Fenton, Bigginge, Barkeston, and Leverton.

Date of commission: 25 November 1601.
