Description

Short title: Anderson v Anderson.

Plaintiff(s): Clement Anderson, son of Richard Anderson.

Defendant(s): Henry Anderson and others.

Subject of depositions: Right and title to the bailiwick of Heddon-upon-the-Wall (Northumberland), and the fee of 40s. [Lease by the abbot of Blaunchland to Edward Claxton, of Newcastle, merchant, and his wife Margaret (who afterwards married Lawrence Rokeby), Sir Thomas Gargrave, kt, Sir George Bowes, kt, Ralph Rokeby, John Rokeby, and houses in Pilgram Street, Newcastle, are mentioned].

County/place: Northumberland.

Date of commission: 29 June 1601.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 9 October 1601 at Newcastle-on-Tyne.
