Description

Short title: Hedworth v Hedworth.

Plaintiff(s): Christopher Hedworth.

Defendant(s): John Hedworth.

Subject of depositions: Right and title to a farmhold in Whickham, in the county palatine of Durham, now in defendant's possession, and sometime in the possession of Richard Hedworth, and Richard Harding, and Elinor (whom defendant married), and parcel of the late monastery of Brenckbourn (Northumberland). Touching leases of such premises.

County/place: Durham; Northumberland.

Date of commission: 30 June 1601.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 1 October 1601 at Chester-in-le-Street.
